On behalf of the University of Southern Mississippi and the Sports Medicine Staff, welcome to Hattiesburg. In order to facilitate the ease of your trip, we supply information for our visiting teams through this site.
Unless otherwise noted, the athletic training room will open approximately two hours prior to the start of games and will remain open approximately one hour after the competition has ended. A team physician will be in attendance for all football games, and will be available or on-call for all other events.
If you have any further questions or require special arrangements, feel free to contact any member of the athletic training staff prior to your arrival on campus. If your team will be traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer, please arrange any required treatments with our staff in advance. In addition, we ask that you send needed supplies and written instructions for any athlete requiring treatment while at Southern Miss.
The following minimum items will be available to you and your staff during competition:

Injury Ice & Bags
Hydrocollator
Biohazard Kit
Emergency equipment on field/court:
AED
Crutches
Vacuum Splints
Spine Board
Arrangements can also be made for the use of modalities in the athletic training room.
