Volleyball's Seymour Earns Conference USA Setter of the Week

HATTISBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss' volleyball player Kelsea Seymour earned her second-straight Conference USA Setter of the Week honor after guiding the Golden Eagles to three consecutive victories during the week.
With three double-doubles, Seymour guided Southern Miss to C-USA wins over Tulane (3-1), Marshall (3-2) and East Carolina (3-0). She finished the week with 140 assists, an average of 11.67 per set, and guided her team to a .242 hitting efficiency. Seymour had 50 assists and 11 digs against the Green Wave, followed by 58 assists and 10 digs in a five-set win over Marshall. She concluded the weekend with 32 assists and 11 digs against East Carolina. Seymour also tallied 21.5 points on 17 kills four blocks and two aces, while hitting .317 for the 12 sets played. This is her seventh career Setter of the Week accolade and third of the season.
