Q: How has USM impacted your life since you started here?
LB: USM has impacted me so much. I have grown as a person and as a player. It has also allowed me to become a better person.
Q: How did you manage to get into your sport?
LB: I wanted to play a sport that did not require a lot of running. Volleyball was the sport that did not require me to run a lot.
Q: Biggest difference between High School and Collegiate athletics?
LB: The biggest difference between High School and Collegiate athletics is the fact that I have ended up having to run a lot anyways, lol.
Q: Prior to a match, do you have any superstitions or rituals?
LB: My biggest ritual is that I always listen to gospel music. I can not and would not do well if God does not give me strength to.
Q: Describe your hometown.
LB: I come from a huge city, Houston, Texas. I am certainly a city girl. My favorite pastime in the city is to go shopping.
Q: Where would you want to go on a vacation if money was no option?
LB: I would want to go to New Zealand and visit with one of my teammates, Maka, who is from there.
Q: Favorite teacher in grade school?
LB: My favorite teacher was Mrs. Bailey. She was the bomb! Can I still use that word?
Q: Funniest thing that has happened to you at a competition?
LB: Prior to a match, I accidentally threw the ball (that should have gone into the crowd) at my coaching staff on the bench. Super embarrassing!
