Volleyball to Offer Variety of Camps

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss volleyball will offer a variety of camps during the month of July and according to head coach Amanda Berkley, registration is now open for all camps.
The July camps begin July 8-10 with an all-skills camp for grades 9-12, a team camp on July 11-13, an all-skills camp for grades 4-8 on July 14-16 and a kids camp on July 17-18.
On July 8-10, a three-day camp that focuses on developing all of the skills of volleyball. This camp is for beginners up to elite level players in grades 9th-12th. This camp is designed to be competitive and help players prepare for their high school season
The date for a three-day team camp is set for July 11-13. The team camp will focus on team competition, skill instruction, and game strategies. The last three sessions will include a team tournament.
An all-skills camp for grades 4-8 is set for July 14-16. This camp will focus on developing all of the skills of volleyball. This camp is for both beginners and people that have played organized volleyball. Emphasis is on creating a love for the sport of volleyball and having fun.
A commuter two-day camp designed for middle school students grades 5-8 is set for July 17-18. This camp will focus on beginner volleyball skills for individual and teams with the camp ending with a tournament.
