Why Southern Miss
"I chose Southern Miss because it was everything I had been looking for in a college and I felt very comfortable there. The team and the coaching staff were all very welcoming and I felt like I had known everyone for years after my first time meeting them. I loved everyone I met because they were such an exciting, enthusiastic group of people and that is just what I need. The campus was beautiful and I am looking forward to spending the next four years here. Southern Miss is also great college town where the entire community is very involved with the athletics and that's exactly what I was looking for!"

Why Southern Miss?
"Before visiting Southern Miss, I had never experienced 'Southern hospitality'. It was a wonderful feeling to be welcomed onto the campus. Right away I knew that Southern Miss could be a home away from home. The University of Southern Mississippi is everything I have ever wanted in a college! The team is close, the campus is beautiful, and the coaches train with high intensity. Another aspect is that the school is strong in what I am going to major in and will prepare me for my future. Also, I loved how everyone in the town of Hattiesburg was fans of Southern Miss! I am very excited for the true college experience that Southern Miss will provide for me."

Why Southern Miss?
Southern Miss has so much to offer; a wide range of academic options, the volleyball program seems great and both Coach Abbey and Coach Amanda were really easy to talk to throughout the whole process. Talking to them about the University gave me a better idea of its atmosphere and spirit. Making the decision to play collegiate volleyball in America was a daunting decision by itself, but with Southern Miss everything just seemed to fit.
