"This was something Softball Head Coach Wendy Hogue was excited to bring to campus. It's a great community event and has the unique opportunity to finish inside the stadium on the football field," said Stephen Pugh, Sr. Associate AD for External Operations.

Hogue is in her fourth season as the head coach of Southern Miss. She is well known in the Hattiesburg community as she spent the previous 10 years as head coach of NAIA power William Carey University.
