HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After playing a pair of games earlier this season away at Florida State, Southern Miss and Troy will tangle again for another pair of games on Tuesday at the Southern Miss Softball Complex set for a 4 p.m. start.
The game has been dubbed the "FTTT" game as the softball program attempts to fill the complex to the top, offering special ticket discounts and welcome a few extra guests to the park. Tickets for Tuesday's doubleheader are just $2 and the Hattiesburg Zoo will be on hand with a collection of furry and not-so furry friends.

The Student Eagle Club is also sponsoring the event and providing free pizza while it lasts. Fans are also encouraged to wear black to the game as the team wants to black out the stadium on Tuesday.
Southern Miss (11-24) is coming off a three-game series at UAB where the Blazers edged out the squad in a pair of games, 2-0 and 1-0, with a 6-0 victory in-between. It also begins a five-game homestand for Southern Miss with C-USA foe Memphis coming to down for a three-game set this weekend.
When the two teams met exactly one month to the day of the rematches, March 2, it was the Trojans (14-19) who got the better of the Golden Eagles, winning 6-4 and 11-7, in the Renegade Classic. Southern Miss led 6-2 in the second game, but the potent Trojan offense rallied back on a 9-1 run to send the team to the consolation game against Appalachian State.
Troy is coming off a 2-1 weekend in Sun Belt Conference action where they defeated Louisiana-Monroe in a pair of games before falling in the finale on Saturday. The Trojans are just 4-9 away from home, and Southern Miss looks to improve on their 6-7 home record during the 2013 campaign.
