The Golden Eagles enter the weekend with a 16-16 overall, notching the most wins since the Golden Eagles had 17 wins in 2011. Southern Miss has a .500 or better record 32 games into the season for the first time since 2005 when the Golden Eagles started the season 17-15.
Southern Miss and UTSA have met five times in program history with the Black and Gold holding a 5-0 overall record in the series. The meeting between the two teams will be the first at either teams' home field, as well as the first meeting since 2004.
The Golden Eagles hold a 5-4 Conference USA record, while the Roadrunners are 4-2 in league play.
