Bradley Earns All-Academic Second Team Honors

Nov. 2, 2017

IRVING, Texas – Conference USA announced 23 student-athletes to the 2017 InTouch Credit Union’s All-Academic teams. Kierstin Bradley of Southern Miss women’s soccer was named to the second team on Thursday afternoon.

Ten different schools were represented, including Southern Miss with one honoree. To earn this honor, the student-athlete must have a 3.2 GPA or higher and be a starter or a key contributor to the team. Bradley, a junior who is graduating in three years, carries a 3.847 GPA in Biological Sciences with a minor in chemistry.

Bradley served as a key component to the Southern Miss offense coming off the bench while appearing in all 18 games and starting eight. Bradley recorded four goals and two assists totaling 10 points in her final season with Southern Miss. With a .625 shots on goal percentage, Bradley finished third on the team with goals scored.

Thursday’s award is Bradley’s second All-Conference honor in her three-year stint with the Golden Eagles. Bradley earned All-Freshman team honors in 2015 when she led the team with five goals.

This is the second year in a row the Golden Eagles have placed a student-athlete on an All-Academic team. Last year, Lindsey Lee and Brittany Taylor earned All-Academic First team honors.
