Southern Miss Women's Soccer Falls at Tulsa 1-0 on Sunday
Lady Eagles even their record at 2-2

TULSA, Okla. - A goal in the second minute by Tulsa held up the rest of the match as the Golden Hurricane defeated Southern Miss 1-0 in Conference USA women's soccer action at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium in Tulsa, Sunday.
The loss snapped a two-match winning streak for the Lady Eagles (6-7-0 overall, 2-2-0 C-USA).
Emily McElrath tallied her first goal of the season for Tulsa (2-10-1, 1-3-0) as she headed in a corner kick from Kelley German.
Tulsa ended up outshooting the Southern Miss 14-6 in the contest. Southern Miss Goalie Anna Fiser finished the match with four saves.
The Lady Eagles return home to face Colorado College, Friday at 4 p.m., at the Southern Miss Soccer and Track Complex. Colorado College is in their first year as an affiliate member of Conference USA for women's soccer. The Lady Eagles conclude their home portion of their schedule on Sunday against UTEP on Senior Day.
