Bio:
Dolores Deasley enters her second year as a member of the coaching staff in 2005, following her decorated playing career at Hofstra University.

Deasley was a four-year letterwinner at Hofstra University. She finished her career with nine goals, four assists and 22 points. She played in 72 games in her career, with 70 starts, helping Hofstra to a 47-21-9 mark in her playing career.

As a senior in 2003, Deasley was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-CAA, also garnering All-American third-team honors by Soccer Buzz Magazine. She was also named first-team All-Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of American and Soccer Buzz Magazine.

Deasley, a 2003-04 recipient of the Dr. Nathalie J. Smith Award, given to Hofstra's Female Student Athlete of the Year, helped Hofstra allow only nine goals in 2003, which tied with Utah for the best in the nation. She helped Hofstra to a 13-3-3 record and the regular-season CAA championship title.

In 2002, she helped Hofstra to a 14-5-1 record, earning All-CAA second team honors, while earning second-team All-America East honors as a sophomore in 2001, as the team finished 8-8-3. As a freshman, she earned second-team All-America East, also earning America East All-Rookie honors, as the squad finished 12-5-2.

Deasley played for the New York Magic of the United Soccer W-League in 2005, played on the Long Island Lady Riders of the United Soccer W-League in 2003 and 2004 and has been a member of the Irish National Soccer Team since 1999.

During her high school career at St. Columbas School in Ireland, she was named the Irish Under-18 National Player of the Year, the Donecal Player of the Year and the St. Columbas Player of the Year. She also made an international appearance against the U.S. National team.

She coached the Elite Soccer Camps in 2004, also serving as an assistant coach for the Under-14 team in the Long Island Soccer League.

Deasley, 25, is a native of Drumkeen, Ireland, and has five brothers and four sisters. She is the daughter of William and Bridget Deasley and completed her bachelor of science degree in education from Hofstra in 2004.
