Lady Eagle Golfers Head to FIU Pat Bradley Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team continues the fall season when it travels to Lakewood Ranch, Fla. to participate in the 36th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational. The tournament, which will be held Oct. 20-22, is hosted by FIU and will be played at the par-72, 6,288-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
Participating in the tournament along with Southern Miss are FIU, Bethune-Cookman, Bradley, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Delaware, Drake, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Maryland, Memphis, Missouri, North Texas, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Western Illinois.
Teeing off in the No. 1 position is senior Brandi Rodriguez. The Orlando, Fla., native has a stroke average of 77.11. She is coming off a season-best tie for 24th-place at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational.
Teeing off in the No. 2 position is redshirt senior Lauren Judson. In two tournaments this year, she has a stroke average of 80.17.
Sophomore Juliana Herrera will tee off in the No. 3 position. The Plantation, Fla., native will be participating in her second tournament of the year. She is averaging 77.33 strokes after finishing 55th-place at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
Freshman Emily Ross will tee off in the No. 4 position. The Diamondhead, Miss., native is averaging 81.11 strokes per round after tying for 54th-place at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational.
Freshman Devon Spriddle will tee off in the No. 5 spot. The Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, native is currently averaging 82.56 strokes per round through nine rounds.
Sophomore Jennifer Nguyen will be playing as an individual. She is averaging 82.50 strokes through six rounds this year.
