Women's Golf Heads to Lady Paladin Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team continues the fall season when it travels to Greenville, S.C. to participate in the Lady Paladin Invitational. The tournament, which will be Sept. 20-22, is hosted by Furman and will be played at the par-72, 6,266-yard Furman University Golf Course.
Participating in the tournament along with Southern Miss are Clemson, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Florida State, Furman, George Regents, Georgia State, Houston, Kennesaw State, Nova Southeastern, Samford, Texas A&M, UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro, Wisconsin and Wofford.
Teeing off in the No. 1 position is senior Brandi Rodriguez. The Orlando, Fla., native leads the Lady Eagles with a stroke average of 80.00. She tied for 36th-place at the season-opening Chip-N-Club Invitational.
Redshirt-senior Lauren Judson will tee off in the No. 2 position at 8:27 a.m. CT. The Roswell, Ga., native leads the Lady Eagles with a stroke average of 80.00. She tied for 36th-place at the season-opening Chip-N-Club Invitational.
Teeing off in the No. 3 position is sophomore Juliana Herrera at 8:18 a.m. CT. She will be participating in her first tournament of the year. Last year, she averaged 78.30 strokes per round.
Freshman Devon Spriddle will tee off in the No. 2 position at 8:09 a.m. CT. The Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, native is currently averaging 82.33 strokes per round after tying for 49th-place.
Freshman Emily Ross will tee off first in the No. 5 position at 8 a.m. CT. The Diamondhead, Miss., native is averaging 80.67 strokes per round after tying for 42nd-place.
