Lakewood, Fla. - Senior Brandi Rodriguez tied for ninth-place at the 36th annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by FIU and is being played at the par-72, 6,275-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
Rodriguez fired a final round 72 to finish one-under par with a 54-hole score of 215, both of which tied her own school record. Her 72 also gives her four rounds of par of better this year, setting a new season record, and 11 for her career. The ninth-place finish is also the 11th top ten finish of her career.
The Lady Eagles finished in seventh-place. They shot a final round 300, the second lowest final round score in school history. They finished 34-over par with a 54-hole score of 898, both of which are the second lowest in school history.
Sophomore Juliana Herrera tied for 22nd-place after carding a 74. She finished seven-over par with a 54-hole score of 223. Redshirt senior Lauren Judson tied for 34th-place at 11-over par. She posted a 74 to finish with a career-best 54-hole score of 227.
Freshman Emily Ross tied for 70th-place at 22-over par after carding an 80. Her 54-hole score of 238 is a career-best. Sophomore Jennifer Nguyen, playing as an individual, and freshman Devon Spriddle tied for 77th-place at 27-over par. Nguyen shot an 83 while Spriddle shot an 81.
Missouri won the team title at nine-over par, one shot in front of Daytona State College.
FIU's Coralia Arias earned medalist honors, finishing six-under par, one shot ahead of So Young Hwang.
The Lady Eagles close out the fall season next week when it travels to Gulf Shores, Ala., for the UAB Fall Beach Bash, Oct. 28-29.
