Lakewood, Fla. - The Southern Miss women's golf team is tied for seventh-place heading into the final round of the 36th annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational. The tournament is being hosted by FIU and is being played at the par-72, 6,275-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
The Lady Eagles shot a second round 304 to sit 22-over par, tied with Memphis. Their 36-hole score of 598 is the fourth lowest in school history.
Senior Brandi Rodriguez is tied for eighth-place at one-under par after shooting a 74. Her 36-hole score of 143 is a career-best and is the second lowest in school history.
Sophomore Juliana Herrera is tied for 26th-place after carding a 77. She is five-over par at 149. Redshirt senior Lauren Judson posted a 76 to sit nine-over par in a tie or 45th-place.
Freshman Emily Ross is tied for 65th-place at 14-over par after carding a 77. Sophomore Jennifer Nguyen, playing as an individual, posted an 87 to sit in a 76th-place tie at 16-over par and freshman Devon Spriddle is 18-over par in 79th-place after shooting an 86.
Daytona State College leads the tournament at four-over par, four shots ahead of Maryland.
Daytona State's So Young Hwang and Taylor Gohn of Missouri are tied for the individual lead at four-under par.
The final round begins tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
