Lady Eagle Golfers in 11th-Place Heading into Final Round of Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team is in 11th-place heading into the final round of the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational. The tournament is being hosted by Mississippi State and is being played at the par-72, 6,113-yard Old Waverly Golf Course.
The Lady Eagles shot are 69-over par after shooting a second round 319.
Freshman Emily Ross posted an 82 to sit in a 56th-place tie at 21-over par. Freshman Devon Spriddle shot an 83 to sit 25-over par in 58th-place and senior Kaylee Random, playing in her first tournament of the year, is in 60th-place at 29-over par after shooting an 88.
Mississippi State leads the team competition at seven-under par, 10 shots ahead of East Carolina, who is three-over par.
Mississippi State's Jessica Peng leads the individual competition at five-under par, one shot in front of teammate Ally McDonald.
