Lady Eagle Golfers Heads in 10th-Place Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team is in 11th-place after the first round of the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational. The tournament is being hosted by Mississippi State and is being played at the par-72, 6,113-yard Old Waverly Golf Course.
The Lady Eagles shot a 38-over par 326, 13 shots behind 10th-place Memphis.
Freshman Emily Ross posted a 12-over par 83 to sit in a 54th-place tied. Senior Kaylee Random, playing in her first tournament of the year, is in 58th-place after shooting a 13-over 86, and freshman Devon Spriddle posted a 14-over 86 to sit in a tie for 59th-place.
Mississippi State leads the team competition at seven-under par, eight shots ahead of East Carolina, who is one-over par.
Mississippi State's Ally McDonald leads the individual competition at five-under par, two shots in front of teammate Jessica Peng.
