Women's Golf Takes 14th-Place at Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Southern Miss women's golf team shot a final round 320 to finish 82-over par in 14th-place at the Lady Paladin Invitational. The tournament is hosted by Furman and will be played at the par-72, 6,266-yard Furman University Golf Course.
Senior Brandi Rodriguez posted a final round 80 to tie for 45th-place at 14-over par. Sophomore Juliana Herrera, playing in her first tournament of the year, finished 16-over par in 55th-place after posting an 81.
Redshirt senior Lauren Judson shot a 79 to finish 25-over par in a 76th-place tie. Freshman Devon Spriddle tied for 83rd-place after carding an 83 to finish 30-over par and freshman Emily Ross tied for 85th-place at 31-over par after posting an 85.
Wisconsin won the team competition at one-over par. Clemson finished two shots back in second place.
Clemson's Ashlan Ramsey won the individual tournament at seven-under par, three shots ahead of Eunice Yi of GRU-Augusta.
Southern Miss returns to the links next week, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, when it travels to West Point, Miss., to take part in the Old Waverly Bulldog Classic.
