Women's Golf Takes 16th-Place at Rebel Intercollegiate

Oxford, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team finished in 16th-place at the Rebel Intercollegiate, played at the par 72, 6,313-yard Ole Miss Golf Course.
The Lady Eagles shot a final 315 to finish 66-over par.
Junior Brandi Rodriguez tied for 19th-place at six-over par after carding a 76. It is her sixth top-20 finish of the year and the 16th of her career.
Senior Vicky Correa tied for 61sth-place at 15-over par after shooting an 80. Freshman Kaylee Random shot an 81 to tie for 81stst-place. Freshman Juliana Herrera tied for 85th-place after carding a 78 and junior Lauren Judson posted an 84 to tie for 87th-place.
Coastal Carolina won the tournament at one-under par, nine shots ahead of Baylor.
Coastal Carolina's Jessica Alexander took home medalist honors at eight-under par, one shot in front of Hayley Davis of Baylor.
The Lady Eagles close out the season in two weeks, when it travels to Gulf Shores, Ala., for the Conference USA Championships, April 22-24.
