Augusta, Ga. - Southern Miss women's golf shot a 19-over 307 to sit in a ninth-place heading into the final round of the Insperity Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate, hosted by Augusta State and played at the par 72, 6,248 yard Forest Hills Golf Club.
The Lady Eagles are 43-over par, four shots behind eighth-place Troy.
Freshman Sarah Hicks is tied for 21st-place at seven-over par after she fired a career-best 73. Her 36-hole score of 151 is also a career-best.
Sophomore Brandi Rodriguez shot a 78 to drop into a tie for 24th at eight-over par.
Freshman Pair Noibanchong and senior Sandra Sohlberg are tied for 57th-place at 15-over par. Noibanchong shot 77 while Sohlberg carded a 79. The 36-hole score of 159 for Noibanchong is a career-best.
Junior Vicky Correa posted an 83 to tie for 66th-place at 19-over par.
UT-San Antonio leads the team competition at eight-over par, four shots ahead of Augusta State.
Augusta State's Casey Kennedy leads the individual competition at two-under par, one shot ahead of Purdue's Paula Reto.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final round beginning at 8:30 a.m.
