Women's Golf Finishes in 13th-Place at Jaguar Intercollegiate

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Southern Miss women's golf team finished 104-over par to finish in 13th-place at the Jaguar Intercollegiate. The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,214-yard Forest Hills Golf Club.

Senior Brandi Rodriguez shot a 76 and 81 to finish 26-over par, tied for 53rd-place. Sophomore Juliana Herrera tied for 56th-place at 27th-place, carding an 83 and 80. Senior Lauren Judson tied for 58th-place at 28-over par after posting an 81 and 78.

Freshman Devon Spriddle and sophomore Jennifer Nguyen tied for 64th-place at 30-over par. Spriddle carded rounds of 78 and 81 while Nguyen posted an 80 and 77.

Vanderbilt won the team competition at 32-over par, 10 shots in front of second-place Mercer. Mercer's Lacy Fears earned medalist honors after finishing one-over par.

The Lady Eagles return to the links next week when they travel to Crystal River, Fla., for the Plantation Inn Intercollegiate, Mach 21-23.
