Mobile, Ala. - The Southern Miss women's golf team finished in fourth-place at the spring-opening USA Lady Jaguar Invitational, hosted by South Alabama and played at the par-72, 6,051-yard Azalea City Golf Club.
The Lady Eagles shot a final round 314 to finish 51-over par. Louisiana-Monroe won the team tournament at 40-over par.
Senior Vicky tied for 11th-place at 12-over par after shooting a final round 80. It was the fifth top 20 finish of the year and the 14th of her career. Junior Lauren Judson shot a 79 to tie for 13th-place at 13-over par. It is her second career top 20 finish.
Juniors Brandi Rodriguez and sophomore Sarah Hicks tied for 15th-place at 14-over par. Rodriguez shot a final round 78 while Hicks posted a 77. It was Rodriguez's third top 20 finish of the year and the 13th of her career, and it was Hicks' second of the year and fourth of her career.
Freshman Juliana Herrera and junior Kaylee Random tied for 30th-place at 17-over par. Herrera carded an 82 and Random posted an 81.
Arkansas-Little Rock's Emelie Westrup won the individual competition at five-over par.
Southern Miss returns to the links on March 11-12, when it hosts the Lady Eagle Invitational.
