The 2015-2016 Southern Miss Golden Eagles' women's golf team was the best in program history.
It was the highest ever finish for the Golden Eagles in the event.
2015-16 (Jr.): Played in all 10 events for 29 rounds, averaging 77.72 strokes per round… Had four top-20 finishes tying for 13th at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (3/20-22), tying for 11th at the Ole Miss Intercollegiate (4/1-3), tying for 9th at the Fred Marx Invitational (10/19-20), and tying for 8th at the UAB Fall Beach Bash (11/2-3) for her best finish of the season…Named a WGA All-American Scholar…Earned C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Tallied Dean’s List during the Spring 2016 semester.
2014-15 (So.): Named Second Team All-Conference USA...One of four golfers to participate in all nine tournaments...Her season stroke average of 75.55 is the second lowest in school history...Became just the fourth golfer in Lady Eagle history to record six consecutive top-20 finishes...Had two top-ten and seven top-20 finishes...Fired consecutive 70's at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational (10/20-22), where she finished in third-place, the best finish of her career...Also set the school record for low-36 hole score (140), while carding the fifth-lowest 54-hole score (216) at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational...Tied for seventh-place at the rain-shortened Lady Eagle Invitational (3/9)… Named a 2015 WGCA All-American Scholar…Made the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Earned Dean’s List honors during Fall 2014 and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during Spring 2015.
2013-14 (Fr.): Named a 2014 WGCA All-American Scholar ... One of two golfers to participate in all 10 tournaments, averaging 79.8 strokes per round ... Had the best finish of her career at the Lady Eagle Invitational (3/10-11), tying for eighth-place ... Fired first career round of par or better in the second round of the Conference USA Championship (4/21-23), carding a 72 on her way to a 16th-place finish ... Her season bests were 145 for a 36-hole score and 220 for a 54-hole score.,, Made the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Earned Dean’s List honors during Fall 2013 and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during Spring 2014.
Prep: Named to Team Alberta for the Canada Summer Games that took place at the Milby Golf Club in Sherbrooke, Quebec...Finished third at the 2012 Alberta School's Athletic Association Championship...Is a three-time Alberta Novice champion...Named the Alberta Golf Female Junior Achiever of the Year in 2012...Shot a 69 in October, 2012, to win the Semiahmoo Junior Open Championship, including making her first hole-in-one.
