Basketball radio shows return tonight
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Golden Eagle Hotline with Doc Sadler and Lady Eagle Fastbreak with Joye Lee-McNelis are back for the final episode of December, airing live from Georgia Blue (4404 Hardy Street). This week, however, the women's show will air from Birmingham, Ala., while the team prepares for Tuesday's 12 p.m. game at Samford.
Lady Eagle Fastbreak opens the night of Southern Miss basketball with an hour-long program from 6-7 p.m., hosted by Josh West. The Golden Eagle Hotline then follows from 7-8 p.m., hosted by the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox.
Both programs will feature news and notes surrounding both programs each week as well as reviewing recent games and previewing the upcoming contests. In addition, special guests will visit at times during the year.
The programs will engage fans through social media outlets as questions can be asked through Twitter (@USMGoldenEagles), Facebook (Southern Miss Athletics) and via email (SouthernMissAthletics@gmail.com). Questions can also be submitted for those in attendance at Georgia Blue.
The Lady Eagle Fastbreak with Joye Lee-McNelis can be heard on AM 1400 The Score locally, while the Golden Eagle Hotline with Doc Sadler can be heard on Rock 104, 104.5 FM, in the Hattiesburg/Laurel area, each Monday night through the basketball regular season, as well as other Southern Miss IMG Sports affiliates throughout the state and Gulf Coast region.
