Lady Eagles Add One More Signee

June 8, 2017

Hattiesburg, Miss – Coach Joye Lee-McNelis announced another signee for the 2017-2018 season. Camille Anderson joins the Southern Miss Women’s Basketball team after spending the 2015-2017 campaigns at NC State.

The 5-foot-9-inch guard, hailing from Buford, Ga., appeared in 36 games for the Wolf Pack and averaged 2.4 points per game.

“Camille brings a wealth of experience in winning from Buford High School in Buford, GA to NC State,” McNelis said. “Camille only knows winning and understands what it takes to win. We are excited to have Camille join our program. We recruited her out of high school and knew she would be prepared for college because of her highs school Coach - Gene Durden. Camille has leadership skills that she will bring to our program during her redshirt year.”

Anderson will sit out the upcoming season due to NCAA rules, but will be eligible to play next season.
