Student Eagle Club, The Legacy Set to Purchase 1,000 Student Tickets for Women's NIT Opener

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Student Eagle Club and the Student Chapter of the Alumni Association, The Legacy, will combine to donate 1,000 student tickets for the Southern Miss Women's NIT opening round contest, Thursday, against Lamar. Game time is set for 7 p.m., at Reed Green Coliseum.
The tickets will be distributed to the first 1,000 students who show a valid Southern Miss ID at the student entrance (West Gate) to Reed Green Coliseum on Thursday evening. Students may begin lining up for the tickets at 5:30 p.m., with doors scheduled to open at 6 p.m., one hour prior to tipoff. Once those tickets are handed out, students will need to purchase $5 student tickets at the Reed Green ticket office.
The Lady Eagles, which finished second in Conference USA and reached the league's conference tournament title game, currently sport a 26-6 record, and are in the postseason for the first time since 2008.
