2013-14 Lady Eagle Notes

  • The Lady Eagles enjoy their first 20-win season for the first time since 2008-09.
  • Has won 11-straight games heading into the C-USA Tournament.
  • Senior Jamierra Faulkner ranks finished the regular season leading the nation in assists per game with a C-USA single-season record 8.5 helpers. Her 243 assists on the year also bettered the previous C-USA single-season record of 235.
  • Faulkner is just 17 shy of tying the league's career assists mark. In addition, she appears ninth in the NCAA and second in the conference with a 3.03 steal average. Faulkner matched another league record and set the school standard with 349 career thefts. She enters championship week ranked eighth in scoring (17.4 ppg) and third in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9).
  • Engineered eight victories when trailing at the half.
  • Finished the season 17-1 at home.
  • The Lady Eagles were picked No. 13 in the preseason poll, but finished in second place during the year.
