IRVING, Texas - A long lineup of Conference USA veterans make up the 2013 All-Conference teams, the league announced today. Of the 17 honorees, 16 are upperclassmen and five seniors highlight the first team, as voted on by the league's coaches, sports information directors and a select media panel. In addition, four of the eight first team award winners are repeat honorees.

Junior point guard Jamierra Faulkner and freshman Jerontay Clemons were listed among the honorees.

Faulkner (West Palm Beach, Fla.) came into the season shouldering high expectations as the point guard ranks 10th in the NCAA in steals per game (3.31) and 11th in assists per game (6.6). Both figures lead C-USA and her 18.8 ppg ranks second. Faulkner is the only player in the conference to rank among the nation's top 50 in four different categories. The 2012 All-C-USA first teamer also was named to the 2013 All-C-USA Defensive Team. She enters championship week with 578 career assists, which ranks sixth on the C-USA record chart. Faulkner needs 21 to crack the top five. The Florida native is the only player in C-USA to produce a triple-double this season when she had 16 points, 10 assists and 10 steals against Loyola on Dec. 15, earning her the first of two C-USA Player of the Week honors. She is one of three finalists for the C Spire Gillom Trophy awarded to the top Division I women's basketball player in the state of Mississippi.

Clemons (Coldwater, Miss.) becomes the eighth Lady Eagle to earn Conference USA All-Freshman honors. She started 28 of 29 games while leading the team in rebounds per game (6.8), third on team in points per game (10.0), second in steals (66) and assists (73) and third in minutes per game (33.1). She ranks in the top among the league leaders in scoring, rebounding and steals. She has scored in double-figures in 15 games and has five double-digit rebound games. Clemons recorded season highs of 21 points at South Alabama (11/16), 12 rebounds vs. Loyola (12/15) and seven steals at UCF (1/20). She was named to Lady Eagle Classic All-Tournament Team (11/24) and earned C-USA Freshman of the Week on two occasions.
