Women's Basketball Travels to UTEP

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss women's basketball team hits the road again, traveling to UTEP for a 3:05 p.m. (CT) matchup on Feb. 10.

Southern Miss Preview
Southern Miss (12-9, 4-4) is coming off a lopsided 78-56 loss to Tulsa. Ance Celmina paced the Lady Eagles with a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds while Jamierra Faulkner chipped in 14 points.

Southern Miss vs. UTEP Series
This is the 11th meeting between the two teams. UTEP leads the overall series 7-3 that began in 1993. Southern Miss won the first two meetings between the teams. UTEP has won seven of the last eight meetings including both meetings last season.
Following the UTEP game, Southern Miss returns home to host UCF on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. This game has been designated at the Pink Game as the first 250 fans will receive a pink t-shirt and breast cancer survivors will be honored at the game. Fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one.
