HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 79-63 win over Loyola (LA) University while junior guard Jamierra Faulkner recorded her first career triple double and scored her 1,000th career point in the process.

"I believe we saw a team that we wanted to see offensively as far as sharing the basketball. An important stat is the 27 assists to 34 baskets.
