Golden EagleTrack Athletes Compete In NCAA Regionals, Chanove Advances To The NCAA National Championships

HATTIESBURG, Miss.-- Several Golden Eagle track athletes competed today at the NCAA Regionals in Bloomington, Indiana. Junior Conrad Chanove advanced to the NCAA National Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

Junior Conrad Chanove finished fourth in the javelin, with a throw of 213'5", advancing to the NCAA National Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

In the 100 meter hurdles, Raquel Washington posted a time of 13.65, to advance to the finals of the NCAA Mideast Regional tomorrow.

In other action, Noah Bryant finished 17 overall in the men's discus, with a throw of 165'. Marcus Polk finished sixth in his heat in the 100 meter dash, posting a time of 10.80. Dijana Kojic placed fourth in the second heat in the 800 meters, with a time of 2:07.81. C.J. Collier finished fourth in his heat 400 meter hurdles, with a time of 52.33.
