2012 Men's Tennis Bracket

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss men's tennis team enters the 2012 Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship as the No. 7 seed and will face No. 2 seed and No. 33 ranked Memphis on Friday at 1 p.m. (CT). The four-day event, which will be hosted by UCF, is set for April 19-22.

The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a 9-14 overall record and 1-3 against C-USA teams while Memphis finished with a 17-4 record and 4-1.

Tulsa men's tennis team, who is ranked No. 23 nationally, earned the No. 1 spot will await the winner of the opening match of No. 8-seed East Carolina and No. 9-seed UCF, which will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m. ET.

Day two begins with Tulsa and the winner of ECU-UCF at 8 a.m. ET, followed by an 11 a.m. match between fourth-seeded and No. 75 UAB and five-seed Tulane. Afternoon play begins when No. 2-seed and No. 33 Memphis as the Tigers take on seventh-seeded Southern Miss at 2 p.m. Rice, the No. 47 team in the country, earned the three-seed and will take on sixth-seeded SMU at 5 p.m. to wrap up quarterfinal action in Orlando, Fla.
