Men's Tennis Look to Stay Perfect At Home on Wednesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's tennis team look to improve to 9-0 at home on Wednesday hosting the Belmont Bruins.

The Golden Eagles currently hold a four-match win streak heading into Wednesday afternoon's match. The team went 3-0 last week after a 4-2 win against and two 7-0 sweeps against Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State on Sunday.

Wen-Po Tseng continues his undefeated season in singles and doubles play. Tseng is 6-0 in singles and 8-0 in doubles paired with Chung Han Tsai.

Tom Cecchetto and Mieszko Kwasniewski are close behind in doubles play with an 8-1 record. The freshman continue to improve and have won their last six doubles matches.

The Bruins stop at UNO today before traveling to Hattiesburg. Heading into Tuesday's match, the Bruins post a 5-8 record. Belmont went 1-1 last weekend dropping a 6-1 match to Lipscomb but coming back to defeat Methodist College that afternoon 7-0.
