5/8/2008 C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medals Awarded; 19 Southern Miss Student-Athletes Honored A total of 334 student-athletes, including 19 from the University of Southern Mississippi, have earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal during the 2007-08 academic year, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced. The medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
