Men's Tennis Earn Three Straight Sweeps At Home

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Men's Tennis earned its third straight 7-0 sweep at home after Wednesday's win against Belmont.

The Golden Eagles remain perfect not only at home (9-0) after Wednesday's win but perfect in doubles play. Wen-Po Tseng and Chung Han Tsai are also undefeated this season in doubles action after Wednesday's 6-0 win on court 2. Mieszko Kwasniewski and Tom Cecchetto also improve to 9-1 in doubles play with a 6-4 win.

Southern Miss swept the singles play and Teeradon Tortrakul's match on court 4 clinched the ninth win of the season for Southern Miss. Totrakul won 6-3, 6-1 on Wednesday, his third win of the season, first on court 4.

Cecchetto competed for the first time on court 1 and won 7-5, 7-6. Cecchetto is now 4-2 in singles play. Fellow freshman, Tsai, won his fifth straight match after a 3-6, 6-2, 10-5 finish.

Tseng continues to excel and earns win number nine of the season. Tseng is the only Golden Eagle undefeated in singles action. Ronit Bisht and Jorman Reyes also secured singles wins in straight-set fashion.

Southern Miss (9-2) hosts UL-Lafayette on Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m.
