Chung Han Tsai Clinches Fifth Win at Home for Men's Tennis

Southern Miss men's tennis remains undefeated at home after Saturday's 6-1 win over Samford University.

The Golden Eagles also remain perfect in doubles play after winning the doubles point on courts 2 and 3. Wen-Po Tseng and Chung Han Tsai improve to 5-0 in doubles after a 6-1 win Saturday. Tom Cecchetto and Mieszko Kwasniewski improve to 6-1 clinching the doubles point with a 6-3 win.

Jorman Reyes won his fifth straight match in 6-1, 6-1 fashion on court 5. Four of his five wins have been in straight-set fashion. Ronit Bisht improves to 3-3 on court 1 with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court 1. The sophomore has competed all six matches on the front court.

Tsai clinched the match with his 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 win on court 3. Tsai is now 2-1 on the season playing for Tseng on court 3. It's been three weeks since Tsai has competed in singles but finishes the day with a win in singles and doubles.

Teeradon Tortrakul dropped his match on court 2 but Mikhail Esipov came back after dropping the first set and won 3-6, 6-4, 3-0 on court 6, while Cecchetto won his first match on court 4 in straight sets (6-1, 7-6).

The Golden Eagles continue a home swing on Saturday, March 3 hosting New Orleans University at 11 a.m.
