Marc Lux is in his third season as the graduate assistant coach for the Golden Eagles men's tennis program.

Lux received his bachelor's degree in coaching and sport administration in 2006. He then joined the coaching staff as the graduate assistant coach, pursuing a master's degree in sport management which he finished in 2007. Lux then continued on to earn a second master's in coaching in 2008. Lux is now pursuing a doctoral degree in economic development.

In addition to his many degrees, Lux also earned a coaching license in Germany. He has coached both state and regional championship teams in Germany and Spain. In addition, Lux has also spent time coaching juniors in Germany.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Lux concluded an outstanding athletic career as a Golden Eagle. He finished his career at Southern Miss with an overall singles record of 32-52 and an overall doubles record of 14-28. His best performance was in 2005 at the UTC Baras Fall Classic, where he won the Flight C Singles bracket.

Before arriving at Southern Miss, Lux attended Albert Einstein School in Schwalbach, Germany. He is the son of Paul and Regina Lux.
