Men's Golf Ties for Tenth-Place at Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate

Jacksonville, Fla. - The Southern Miss men's golf team tied for 10th-place at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate. The tournament was co-hosted by North Florida and Georgia Southern and was played at the par-72, 7,223-yard Deerwood Country Club.

The Golden Eagles finished 50-over par after shooting a final round 307 to tie with Francis Marion

Senior Zach Estep tied for 26th-place at 10-over par after carding a final round 78. Junior Drew Kirby tied for 46th-place at 13-over par after posting a 75. Junior Casey Fernandez shot a final round 74 to finish 15-over par, tied for 50th-place.

Senior Kevin Brady tied for 59th-place at 17-over par after shooting an 81 and senior Kevin Brady tied for 76th-place after carding an 80 to finish 21-over par.

Vanderbilt won the team title at 12-over par, eight shots in front of Tulsa.

Tulsa's Logan McCracken won medalist honors, finishing five-under par, five shots in front of Georgia Southern's Scott Wolffes and Matthias Schwab of Vanderbilt.

The Golden Eagles will take the next two months off before returning for the spring season.
