Men's Golf in Tenth-Place at Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate
Jacksonville, Fla. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is in 10th-place heading into the final round of the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate. The tournament is co-hosted by North Florida and Georgia Southern and is being played at the par-72, 7,223-yard Deerwood Country Club.
The Golden Eagles are 31-over par after shooting rounds of 298 and 309.
Senior Zach Estep is tied for second-place at four-over par after shooting rounds of 72 and 76. The 72 is his third round of par or better this year and the 25th of his career.
Sophomore Kevin Jorden is eight-over par in a 39th-place tie. He opened with a 75 before finishing the day with a 77.
Junior Drew Kirby is tied for 51st-place at 10-over par after carding a 75 and 79. Senor Kevin Brady and junior Casey Fernandez are tied for 70th-place at 13-over par. Brady shot an 80 and 77 while Fernandez posted a 76 and 81.
The final round begins at 6:30 a.m. CT with the Golden Eagles teeing off at 7:06.
