Day Two Results
Texarkana, Ark. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is in 10th-place after two rounds of the 2012 Conference USA Championships, played at the par 72, 6,935-yard Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark.
The Golden Eagles shot a second round 303 to sit 23-over par, two shots behind ninth-place Tulsa.
Redshirt senior Nick Brown carded a 73 to sit one-over par in 11th-place. Sophomore Zach Estep is tied for 18th-place after also posting a 73, putting him three-over par.
Sophomore Kevin Brady is in 41st-place after shooting a 78 to sit nine-over par. Redshirt senior Derek Plucienski shot an 80 to sit 11-over par in a 43rd-place tie, while freshman Casey Fernandez is tied for 47th-place, 12-over par after posting a 79.
UCF's Greg Eason and Roman Robledo of Houston are tied for the individual lead at six-under par. Memphis' Jack Belote and Martin Simonsen of UTEP are tied for third at five-under par.
Memphis is in the lead at five-under par. UCF is in second at two-under par, followed by East Carolina at six-over par.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final round. Southern Miss will tee off at 8:00 a.m.
