Southern Miss Tied for Ninth-Place at Conference USA Men's Golf Championships

Texarkana, Ark. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is tied for ninth-place heading into the final round of the Conference USA Championship, played at the par 72, 6,935-yard Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark.

The Golden Eagles shot a 302 to sit 20-over par, tied with East Carolina.

Junior Zach Estep is tied for 27th-place at four-over par after carding a 77. Junior Kevin Brady and freshman Michael Perez are tied for 31st-place at five-over par. Brady posted a 77, while Perez carded a 74.

Freshman Tyler Peggs is six-over par, tied for 40th-place after shooting a 74, and junior Jared Smith is tied for 52nd-place at 11-over par after carding a 77.

Houston and SMU lead the tournament at 10-under par while UCF is in third-place at even par.

SMU's Bryson Dechambeau leads the individual tournament at eight-under par, one shot in front of Roman Robledo of Houston.

The tournament continues tomorrow with the final round. Play begins at 8:00, with Southern Miss beginning play at 8:50 from hole #10.
