Men's Golf Tied for 10th-Place at Mason Rudolph Championship

Franklin, Tenn. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is tied for 10th-place after one round of the Mason Rudolph Championship. The tournament is hosted by Vanderbilt and is being played at the par-71, 7,100 Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Golden Eagles are 16-over par after shooting a 300. They are tied with Florida State, five shots behind Mercer and Ball State.
Sophomore Kevin Jorden opened with a six-over 77 to sit in a 54th-place tie. Senior Jared Smith shot a seven-over 78 to sit in a tie for 59th-place and senior Zach Estep is tied for 69th-place after shooting a nine-over par 80.
Top-ranked Alabama leads the tournament at three-under par, seven shots ahead of second-place Kennesaw State. The College of Charleston's Zach Munroe is four-under par, leading the individual tournament, two shots in front of second-place.
