Madison, Miss. - Sophomore Kevin Brady is tied for seventh-place through six holes of the second round of the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate, hosted by Ole Miss at the par-72, 7,305-yard Reunion Golf and Country Club.
The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes after play was suspended during the second round because of rain.
Brady shot a one-under 71 in the first round before birdieing two of the first six holes in the second round to sit three-under par, four shots off the lead.
Sophomore Trent Hillis is tied for 49th-place at three-over par after opening with a 74. He is currently one-over par in the second round through eight holes
Freshman Casey Fernandez and senior Nick Brown are both five-over par in a tie for 63rd-place. They both opened with a 76, while both are one-over par. Fernandez has completed nine holes in the second round while Brown is through six.
Sophomore Zach Estep is tied for 75th-place at nine-over par. He opened with an 80, tying his worst round of the year, while sitting at one-over par through six holes of the second round.
The Golden Eagles are tied for 13th-place in the team competition at 10-over par with Jackson State and UNC-Greensboro. They opened with a 297 and are currently one-over par in the second round.
No. 29 Wichita State leads the tournament at 16-under par. Southeastern Louisiana is in second-place at seven-under par.
Memphis' Jonathan Fly leads the individual tournament at seven-under par, one shot ahead of Calvin Pearson of Wichita State.
