Choudrant, La. - Southern Miss junior golfer Kevin Brady shot a final round 73 to finish in fourth-place at the Argent Financial Classic, played at the par-72, 7,105-yard Squire Creek Country Club.
Brady finished one-under par with a 54-hole score of 215. The fourth-place finish is his second top five finish of the year and career. It also tied the best finish of his career.
The Southern Miss men's golf team took home fifth-place, finishing 30-over par after a final round 296.
Junior Zach Estep tied for 14th-place at five-over par after carding a 75. It is his third top 20 finish of the year and the seventh of his career.
Sophomore Casey Fernandez tied for 27th-place at 13-over par after posting a 75. Freshman Michael Perez and sophomore Drew Kirby tied for 37th-place at 15-over par. Perez posted a 73 while Kirby carded a 75. Freshman Tyler Peggs, playing as an individual, tied for 52nd-place at 23-over par after a final round 78.
North Texas won the team title at five-under par, four shots in front of LSU.
North Texas' Rodolfo Cazaubon won the individual competition at nine-under par, one shot in front of LSU's Andrew Presley.
Southern Miss returns to the links in two weeks for the Memphis Intercollegiate on March 25-26.
