HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Golden Eagle Hotline, a one-hour radio program, featuring Southern Miss football coach Ellis Johnson, returns for the final time this season Tuesday night, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Due to the Golden Eagle men's basketball game in Huntsville, Texas, the show will not take place at Mugshots, and taped ahead of time due to Southern Miss playing Cal-Irvine at 5 p.m., CT. The show is also slated to air on the Southern Miss IMG Sports Network 30 minutes later than usual because of the game.
The Golden Eagle Hotline will include segments with the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, talking with various Southern Miss head coaches including Johnson, men's basketball coach Donnie Tyndall, women's basketball coach Joye Lee-McNelis and baseball coach Scott Berry.
The Lady Eagle Fastbreak with Joye Lee-McNelis debuts tonight from 6-7 p.m., with Josh West from Mugshots Grill and Bar (204 N. 40th Ave.), while the debut of the Golden Eagle Hotline with Donnie Tyndall takes place next Thursday, Nov. 29, at Mugshots. The time for that show is 7-8 p.m.
