Voting Open for Top Southern Miss Football Game of First 100 Years

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Voting has opened today for fans to select the top football game for Southern Miss over its first 100 years.

Since the summer, Southern Miss has unveiled one of 15 games weekly as part of its 100 Years of Championships and Commencements celebration and fans will have the opportunity to go online to choose the game that they think ranks as the best game in Golden Eagle history.

Voting is open until Wednesday, Oct. 31, and the winner will be announced Friday, Nov. 2, at the Southern Miss 100 Years Gala, which will take place at the Lake Terrace Convention Center. Fans may go to and click on the 15 Greatest Games headline to access the poll. Each of the 15 games has a synopsis and accompanying video for each contest.
