Game Week Promotions for Louisville Game
The Golden Eagles entertain the nationally ranked Cardinals at 7 p.m., Saturday, at The Rock.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics has announced its game week promotions leading up to Saturday's BLACKOUT game versus nationally ranked Louisville.
Saturday's game will kick off at 7 p.m. inside Roberts Stadium, but the festivities begin on Thursday when Southern Miss will host an evening block party surrounding the football practice fields.
All fans are encouraged to show their Golden Eagle Pride during the Southern Miss Football Block Party, set for 5 p.m. outside the Jim and Thomas Duff Athletic Center. The Pride of Mississippi pep band, Seymour and cheerleaders will be in attendance. Free pizza, soft drinks and promotional items will be available for all fans to come show their support as the Golden Eagles exit the practice field at 5:45.
On Friday, Golden Eagle fans are encouraged to wear Gold as part of Go Gold Friday. Coach Ellis Johnson and select players will also take part of the Friday football luncheon from 11:30-1 p.m. in the Trent Lott Center. Cost is $10 for the buffet lunch and chat session.
Later that evening, the M-Club will host its annual Hall of Fame Banquet at 6 p.m. at Southern Oaks and Seymour, select players and pep squads will get campus ready for Saturday's game with "Friday Night at the Fountain" beginning at 9 p.m.
Game day begins with the Southern Miss Cheer Clinic at 1 p.m. Cost to attend is $35 and includes a t-shirt, snacks, instruction from Golden Eagle cheerleaders and a ticket to that evening's game. Junior Eagle Funland opens at 4 p.m. and the Eagles will march down Eagle Walk at 5 p.m.
Kickoff for the game will follow and all fans are encouraged to wear black for the annual BLACKOUT game. The M-Club Hall of Famers will be honored at halftime of the game.
A special ticket promotion is also available as Saturday's game is Junior and Community College Day. All junior and community college students, faculty and staff can purchase an upper deck ticket for $15 with a valid school ID.
