The 16th Annual Gulf Coast Beach Bash, hosted by the Gulf Coast Metro alumni chapter, is set to take place from 6-8 p.m., at Hardy Hall (730 East Beach Blvd.) on the Southern Miss Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.
Golden Eagle football coach Todd Monken, as well as assistant coaches and selected Golden Eagle football players, Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders will be in attendance. The Bash will include a photo booth, a fun-jump for children and a silent auction with proceeds from this event benefitting the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students.
IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions will be on site for the annual Beach Bash selling football season tickets, as well as, Mississippi State and Alabama game tickets.
Tickets for the Beach Bash are $15 per person and $7 per child for children 12 and under and include a burger, sides and drinks. Prior to the Beach Bash, the Golden Eagles will participate in various community service events.
Southern Miss football players, cheerleaders, as well as Seymour will be visiting Memorial Hospital in Gulfport passing out autographed posters, stickers and coloring books. Additionally, the group will assist with summer camps put on by the Boys and Girls Clubs in both Gulfport and Pass Christian. Children at these events will also receive autographed posters and other promotional items.
Throughout the entire day the sports marketing staff will visit malls, stores and restaurants throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The group will be handing out football schedule cards, posters, fan guides, stickers and more promotional items for local businesses and fans to showcase their Golden Eagle Pride as we approach the beginning of the 2014 football season.
