Dates Set for Southern Miss Summer Athletic Parties
The events are slated for July 17 in Jackson, July 25 in Long Beach and Aug. 9 in Hattiesburg.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Department of Athletics, will host its annual summer parties with the Jackson All-Star Party on Thursday, July 17, the Gulf Coast Beach Bash on Friday, July 25 and the Hattiesburg Eagle Fanfare on Saturday, Aug. 9.
The 31st Annual Jackson All-Star Party presented by C Spire Wireless, and sponsored by the Central Mississippi Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association, starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Mississippi Trade Mart (1207 Mississippi Street). Golden Eagle football coach Todd Monken, assistant coaches, players, Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders will all be on hand to meet alumni and friends.
This family-friendly event will feature a fun land for children, live music and a silent auction with proceeds from the event going to support the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students.

The 16th Annual Gulf Coast Beach Bash, hosted by the Gulf Coast Metro alumni chapter, is set to take place from 6-8 p.m., at Hardy Hall (730 East Beach Blvd.) on the Southern Miss Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.
Golden Eagle football coach Todd Monken, as well as assistant coaches and selected Golden Eagle football players, Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders will be in attendance. The Bash will include a photo booth, a fun-jump for children and a silent auction with proceeds from this event benefitting the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students.
Tickets are $15 per person and $7 per child for children 12 and under and include a burger, sides and drinks. The South Central Mississippi alumni chapter will play host to the 19th Annual Eagle Fanfare from 2-4 p.m., at the Lake Terrace Convention Center (1 Convention Center Plaza) in Hattiesburg. The entire football program as well as Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders will all be on hand to meet fans. This family-friendly event will feature a photo booth, children's activities and a large silent auction with one-of-a-kind Southern Miss memorabilia. Proceeds from the event benefit the chapter's scholarship endowment fund for local Pine Belt students.
