HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Prior to its annual Spring Game, Saturday, April 21, Southern Miss football will be hosting a free football skills clinic for any kids between the ages of four years old and 8th grade, presented by Powerade.
The clinic will feature the opportunity for kids to take part in various activities like passing, catching, proper tackling form, punting, and running. At each station they’ll have the opportunity to work with Southern Miss football players and members of the staff.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Northwest Corner, Gate 1. While parents will not be allowed on the field, they will be able to sit in the stands on the West side of the stadium. The clinic will begin at 10 a.m. and finish up at 11 a.m. with the Spring Game beginning at 12 p.m.
All participants will need to have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian when they check-in. While participants can sign up the day of the event, they are encouraged to register ahead of time.
